The Line

Sheffreys guide service we use 100lb test whiplash Unlike
traditional braids, Whiplash is processed into thinner
diameter, making it smoother and nonabrasive so it casts
farther and is easy on ceramic guides and reel components.
Super for deep water jigging, it's small diameter and
no-stretch design cuts through water quickly and allows you
to fish with much lighter equipment. But it's still strong
enough for big halibut, tuna, snappers or Great Lakes
salmon. Berkley Whiplash is also the longest casting braid
you can use in freshwater situations,

This powerful, moderate-action mooching rod handles up to 30
pound line and will troll/mooch up to six ounces or cast two
to three ounces without a problem. It's an excellent rod for
bobber fishing those large fall Chinook near tidewater, and
its oversize guides and tip-top allow extra room for bobber
stop.

Designed for mooching in tidewater and ocean salmon
fisheries, the 1265 has a powerful tip and butt, capable of
casting three or four ounces or mooching/trolling up to
eight ounces. Rated for up to 40 pound line, the ten foot

trolling and mooching situations, plus helps keep the fish
from the props when you get him close to the boat. It also
makes a nice surf rod if you need more than one reason to
